Membership Criteria
Come join the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc family. Membership in the Association is open to veterans and active members of all branches of the U. S. Armed Forces regardless of race, creed, or national origin, however the following criteria must be meet.

Honorably served in the Armed forces of the United States at least 90 days on active duty
Received an honorable discharge at the time of separation.

Membership Types and Fees
There are two types of membership, a life member or an annual member. Lifetime membership fees are based on age. The current fees are as follows:

Lifetime fees are as follows:
Ages
29 and below - $300.00
30-39 - $275.00
40-59 - $200.00
60 and above - $150.00

Membership Application Form

Life membership fees can be paid in a one-time payment, or in installments covering a one-year period with an initial deposit of $50.00 (This applies to those whom are joining a local chapter). For those whom are electing to be members at large (Life) must pay full life membership as described by age above. Note: If you wish to pay in installments please join a local chapter.

The second type of membership is an annual member. Annual membership expires on 31 August each year with a 30 day grace period for renewal. Annual membership fee consists of a $25.00 payment to National as well as a local chapter fee. The local chapter membership fee varies for each chapter, therefore please contact the local chapter president or representative for the actual amount.

To sign up, please fill out the membership application and follow the instructions on the form to complete the process.

Notice: All members assigned to a chapter may be required to pay additional monthly fees as deemed and agreed upon by that chapter’s executive by laws. These fees are not a part of membership.

Membership Replacement Cards

If you have lost, or damaged your membership card and would like a one time replacement card, please contact your Chapter President. For those who are members at large or (MAL Life Time) please provide an email or letter to the financial secretary for verification of membership to FinancialSecretary@montfordpointmarines.com

There is a processing and shipping fee of $5.00 for each card.

Preamble Note: Members at Large, are not permitted to hold an elective office or to vote on Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. policy, a membership application, or an election of officers.

Accepted membership, you solemnly swear or affirm that you will uphold and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America and of the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc.

In acceptance of membership, you will never knowingly wrong, deceive or defraud the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. as to the value of anything.

Members at large will never propose for membership, one known to be unqualified or unworthy to become a member of the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc. Members at large further pledge to govern their conduct in the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc., affairs and in their personal life in a manner becoming a decent honorable person and will never knowingly bring discredit to the Montford Point Marine Association, Inc., and the United States of America
